Geroline Jane Harding Jenkins, 90, of Highland Springs passed away January 7, 2012 after a two-month illness. She retired from Philip Morris (R&D Department) after 22 years of service. She was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church and Highland Springs Women's Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rader W. Jenkins, Sr. and granddaughter Cherie Jenkins. She is survived by three sons, Rader W. Jenkins, Jr. of Palm Bay, Florida, Charles Edward Jenkins (Pat) of Sandston and Dennis Keith Jenkins (Betty Jo) of Powhatan; daughter-in-law, Betty Jenkins of Petersburg; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, January 9, 2012, 2-4 & 6-8PM at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, where a service will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 2PM. Interment will be at Washington Memorial Park.
