POWELL, Paul Edward "Peppy", 52, of Ashland, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Marie G. Powell; his mother, Celia and her husband Wayne Wilmoth; sisters, Vickie Worrton and Robin Talley; and brothers, Mark Wilmoth, Ray Lloyd Powell, and Daryl McGinnis. Paul retired from Public Works for the Town of Ashland after 27 years of service. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 12, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA where services will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery, Richmond, VA, with a reception to follow at New Found Church of Christ.
