Memories & Candles
I had the pleasure of meeting Murrell at Bank of America about 5 years ago. He was always a pleasure to be around. As others have mentioned, he always had a smile on his face and was it was obvious he lifted the spirits of those with which he worked on a regular basis. Although, I did not know his family, I would like to express my sincerest condolences to you. Murrell really was a special person. He impacted so many in such a positive way. His Bank of America colleagues including myself miss him dearly. God bless you all.

Jackie and family,
I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Murrell's passing. I worked with Murrell for the last 2 years before he retired and he was such a joy...always had a smile and kept us laughing. It was not the same when he retired, he was missed by many. May God comfort you during this difficult time and the memories of Murrell live on forever in your hearts. Your family is in my prayers.

I had the pleasure of working with Murrell the last three years at Bank of America. Murrell always had a smile on his face and a way of making everyone he met feel welcome and appreciated. It did not take me long to realize that he was someone we all appreciated being around, His laugh could light up a room.
I also took note of the poster he had on the outside of his cubicle. It stated "The best vitamin for

Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot HEAL.
To the Lafoon family, I pray God will continue to strenghten you during this time of sorrow. God is an all knowing and merciful God, one that won't put any more on us than He know we can bear. I enjoyed working with Murrell at Villa Park, he always brought with him a ray of sunshine. God Bless!

My Dear, Dear Friend and Dad (Dad - you stepped in when I lost my Dad 25 years ago and adopted me) - I love you, will miss you and will always appreciate the love that you gave me. Your hugs, love, advise (I wasn't always sure about things) will always be remembered. Mostly I'll remember your contagious huge heart felt from the gut laugh. I've heard it all day as I have gone through my own troubles. I will
