WILKINS, David Wayne, aged 48, of Quinton, passed away unexpectedly on April 26, 2012. He died doing what he loved – watching the race with a few good friends. David had a warm heart and a ready laugh. He was fiercely loyal to his family and friends. He loved Harley-Davidson motorcycles, NASCAR and watching cooking shows, although not even Bobby Flay could touch David's famous ribs. David is survived by his loving parents, Nancy Haller Wilkins and John Wilkins, his aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and of course, Gray Cat. A viewing will be held Wednesday, May 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. A graveside service for family and friends will follow at 2 p.m. at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive in Sandston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Harley-Davidson Foundation, which supports education, veterans and community revitalization.
