Nicole Lee Lander

Nicole Lee Lander, a widow of 50 years, passed away peacefully at Hospice House of Williamsburg on April 18, 2012 at the age of 90. She is survived by her only child, Joan Lander-Webster and son-in-law, Pete Webster. Nicole suffered for many years with severe arthritis but managed to live her life with dignity. Prior to moving to Williamsburg in 2003 to be close to her daughter and son-in-law, she lived in New York and Stamford, CT.

Nicole, a statistical analyst, retired from Dow Chemical Corp. (formerly Union Carbide) in 1985 and enjoyed many years of retirement playing tennis and bridge and doing community service.

The family will receive friends at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd, Williamsburg, on Sunday evening, April 22, from 6:00-8:00 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Bede Catholic Church, 3686 Ironbound Rd, Williamsburg on Monday, April 23 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at St. Vincent's Catholic Cemetery in Madison, NJ on Wednesday, April 25.
