Shaff, Dwight M. 61, of Quinton, VA, formerly of Frederick, MD, passed away on, Wednesday, February 29, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grover C. Shaff. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for over 43 years. Dwight was also an avid fan of NASCAR. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Dell; sister, Barbara A. Scott; brothers; Chris Shaff III (Joan), and Greg Shaff, as well as seven nieces, and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends, Friday March, 2, 2012, from 6 to 8 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012, 10am at Forest Lawn Cemetery, with a memorial service to follow at 11am, at Sandston Presbyterian Church, 13 N.
