Chancellor, Andrew Stuart "Stu" Jr., 71, of Varina, went to be with his Lord on May 26, 2012, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ada Mann and Andrew Stuart Chancellor, Sr. He is survived by his devoted wife who has been by his side for 19 years, Nancy Dennison - Chancellor; son, Mark Chancellor; daughter, Karen Holder (Randy); three grandchildren, Christopher, Stevie and Tracy; great-granddaughter, Allie Morgan; step children, Rhonda (Ricky) and Darryl (Lisa); step-grandchildren, Katelyn and Mason Dennison who will always have memories of "grandpa Stu".

Stuart retired from Dupont after 31 years of service. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Woodland Heights #345 with 29 years of service. The family would like to thank the staff of Bon Secours Hospice for their care and comfort and family members who provided their time, care and support during his illness.

Visitation will be at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231 on Wednesday, May 30 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM with a Masonic Service from 7 – 8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 31 at Nelsen Funeral Home at 11 AM, Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bon Secours Hospice, or a, charity of your choice
