Johnson, Floyd G., 83, of Highland Springs, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, two sisters and one brother. Floyd leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Margaret S. Johnson; son, George A. Clayton (Judy H.); and sister, Teresa Crouch. Floyd was a dedicated employee of C & O Railroad where he worked as an inspector and retired with over 30 years of service. Floyd also served his country dutifully in the Army during WWII. He loved dancing and was an avid bowler and a master gardener and loved pitching horseshoes. Family will receive loved ones and friends on Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA. A graveside service will be held Friday, February 3, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, VA.
