Edwards, Karen Boggs, 51, of Chesterfield, passed away on July, 26 2012 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She is survived by her parents, Lilly and Bob Boggs; sisters, Cindy Smith (Farin) and Patti Baicy; brother, Tim Boggs; devoted companion of five years, David Markwalter; niece, Samantha Baicy and fiancé Josh Shait; nephews, Kevin Smith, Josh Smith, Zach Baicy and her precious dog, Curly Jo. Karen was a dedicated employee of Phillip Morris where she worked for over 30 years. Her loves in life were her family, friends and the beach. Family will receive friends on Sunday, July 29 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 30 at 11 a.m. at Chester United Methodist Church, 12132 Percival Street, Chester, VA.
