Mlynczak, Michael, 64, of Henrico, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012. Michael was preceded in death by his mother and father; son, Michael Mlynczak Jr.; and sister, Krystina Mlynczak. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, daughter, Kelly Hott (Danny); sister, Valerie Bell (Gentry); and brothers, John Mlynczak (Tammy) and George Mlynczak; stepsister, Evelyn Edwards, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews. Michael was the dedicated proprietor of the Varina Diner for 17 years. The family will receive loved ones and friends on Monday, January 30, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond VA. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church, 811 W. Nine Mile Road, Highland Springs, VA 23075, with entombment to follow at Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Central Virginia Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 1801 Libbie Avenue, Suite 106, Richmond, VA 23226.
