Rigsby, Robert "Bob" W., Jr., 60, of Henrico, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 4, 2011. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 35 years, Deborah J. Rigsby; He is survived by his spouse of 2 years, Wanda E. Rigsby and her son Wesley, his wife Ame and their children Madison and Kaylee, and her daughter Michelle, his brother Wayne Johnson and his friend Bob Adams, his son Robert W. Rigsby, III, his wife Bonnie, and their children Hunter, Lindsey, Logan and Garrett. He was affectionately known as "Bob" or "Bobby" to his friends. With over 30 years of employment with Auto Paint Supply, Bob was passionate in his love for cars, especially the classics. He could quickly spot the make and model and always had a great story to share about that particular year. He loved history, was a talented artist and was known for his impeccable taste, affinity for watches and a quick-witted sense of humor that sparked laughter in the music of our souls. His proudest gift was his son Robbie. Bob will be remembered as a proud father, with a never-ending presence on the sidelines of his son's ballgames. His gifts and passions have carried through the generations as a cherished part of his legacy. He will be greatly missed by all those who love him, but will live forever in peace. May Bob's special journeys in Heaven include continuous cruise-ins in the classic cars he loved. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Friday, October 7, 2011 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, where services will be held at 7pm. Interment is private. His car family and friends are encouraged to "cruise-in" to the funeral service to honor his lifetime passion.
