Sara Mobley Hakopian, of Beaverdam, VA, died January 30, 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Molly, and her son, P.J.; father, Frederick F. Mobley (Lillian) of Rockville, MD; mother, Betty Savage (Ernie) of Bruceton Mills, West VA; siblings, Lewis (Sandy) Mobley of Columbia, MD., Alice Emery (William MacDermaid) of Middleville, MI, John (Christa) Mobley of Silver Spring, MD, Mark (Cheryl) Mobley of Sheboygan, WI, and Mykl Davis of Alice Springs, Australia; stepsisters, Joan (Charlie) Maxwell and Anne Clay; her former husband, Haroot Hakopian of Gaithersburg, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sara graduated from Springbrook High School in Silver Spring, Maryland in 1985, and the University of Maryland in 1989. She was outgoing and loving to all who met her. She provided excellent daycare to Charlotte Nelson of Montpelier, VA for almost ten years. She was active in supporting the sport of horse-vaulting for her children in the Montpelier area. A memorial service for Sara will be held at the American Legion Hall, 17662 Beaverdam Road, Beaverdam, VA 23015 on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
